The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in December 2024 is 118.37

NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (term of trade) of agricultural production with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

• The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of  Province Sulawesi Tengah during December 2024 was 118.37, an increase of 4.47 percent compared to the NTP in November 2024.
• The price received index (It) increased by  4.58 percent and  the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.11 percent.
• The largest NTP in December 2024 was in the people's plantation sub-sector at 134.76 and the lowest was in the fisheries sub-sector at 92.19.
• The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of 119.62 experienced an index increase of 4.64 percent compared to November 2024..
• At the national level in December 2024, NTP increased by 1.24 percent compared to the previous month's NTP, while NTUP increased by 1.75 percent.
• The Farmer Exchange Rate and Farmer Business Exchange Rate at the national level in December 2024 were 123.51 and 126.65 respectively.
